D/R/U/G/S has long been a Walrus-favourite, and for his latest EP, Callum Wright has been joined full time by Candi Godbold to create a record that has a little more of an electro-pop vibe than the more ambient electronica we have heard previously.

I waxed lyrical about the collaboration with Akiine on New Born Love last month, and now we’re privileged to share with you another cut from that EP – Broken Bells.

It’s a perfect slice of summer sunset electropop, with laid-back house beats pulsating beneath euphoric dancefloor synths, delicate chimes, and Candi’s rich vocals directing a new emotive dimension.
