Sarah Williams White – Your Silence is Killing Me

New and thrilling ways of creating pop music are always there to be discovered, and it’s often the oddest or most unconventional artists who strike gold quickest. Sarah Williams White [Twitter/Facebook] (or SWW as she likes to call herself) has taken a lot of risks on forthcoming single Your Silence Is Killing Me, but they all pay off in the creation of one of the strangest pop songs we’ve heard all year. Combining a warped vocal intro with an inventive, stuttering beat and a sense of purpose that drives the song, an ode to a dysfunctional relationship. Despite its subject matter, White still manages to work in an absolute gem of a chorus (‘How do we know when it’s over?’) and imbue her vocals with enough power to ensure that they rise above everything else that’s been thrown in the the remarkably busy-sounding song. It’s part of an EP that’s due out on September 24th via Moonsole, and the video is available for your delectation below, so if you were on the hunt for some delightfully odd pop music, then look no further.
