If you are reading mp3 blogs I’m guessing you may well have already heard of an Icelandic band called Sigur Ros (which means Victory Rose by the way). If you haven’t, they are one of Thom Yorke’s (of Radiohead) favourite bands and make very uplifting expansive music which I find just perfect to sit on the roof and listen too to relax. Oh and they sing in Icelandic so the lyrics don’t mean too much to me. They are starting to find a wider audience thanks to the BBC‘s amazing documentary series called Planet Earth for which they wrote the themetune (it’s called Hoppipolla and you can download it below). I really love this album and really recommend buying it.
