You could describe them as almost electric/indie shoe gaze, but the vocals of Anne-Lise Frokedal offer a broken, haunting depth that others can only allude to, and would not sound out of place on the next Portishead offering. Their sound varies throughout the record from wistful, cute pop offerings in Whisper into something that may well blow the bass out of your speakers in Sarah83, but Frokedal’s vocals are infinite and beautiful – climbing into each dreamy sequence.
