“We are going on a tour of some beautiful venues which don’t smell of piss and serve piss for beer, so you should come and enjoy that”– Bombay Bicycle Club
Bombay Bicycle Club have just announced details of a very unique new album and tour happening this July…the boys will releasing a brand new acoustic album on July 11th before heading out on a UK summer tour, exclusively of arts centres and churches.
This, of course, follows the band being awarded the title ‘Best New Band’ at the NME awards recently, and their highly acclaimed NME tour with The Maccabees, The Big Pink and The Drum. Bombay Bicycle Club will also be hitting the festivals hard next season, with confirmations from Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, T In The Park and Oxegen, as well as Lovebox and 2000 Trees Festival.

My good friend Sam of Adelaide’s Cape caught Bombay Bicycle Club at Norwich Puppet Theatre with a brilliant acoustic show a couple of years back and said it was amazing, so I can’t wait to see the boys in an acoustic setting.
