Bands to watch: Entrepreneurs

After making a name for himself over the last few months remixing the likes of Marina and the Diamonds and Feldberg and honing his production skills, Entrepreneurs is dropping his debut EP next week on a pay what you fancy model. Uv Been Robbed (joking, but not) lurches throughout with short sampled beeps and beats, but there is always one eye on pop melodies to hold each song together.

Bubblegunk is my favourite of the EP and throws you straight into some layered beats before getting involved with the crooning vocals and rich synths or even a cock rock guitar solo. All these facets shouldn’t work together, but Entrepreneurs manages to beat them into his mould with great finesse.

We’ve also got Entrepreneurs’ remix of Al Cool and the Stranger Wines, where he adds some Breakbot-esque electro-funk to this cool as fuck laidback jam.
