[Video] Midnight Lion – All Greatness Stands Firm

Glaswegian duo Midnight Lion (Facebook) may have briefly come to our attention in 2009 when they first put out a demo of All Greatness Stands Firm, but Island Records got them back into the studio to produce more material before giving them a proper push now.

I’m always slightly disconcerted by a major getting involved so early, as it can push genuinely talented pop acts far too much towards style and mass-appeal middle ground, but only time will tell. As it is Island imprint Locks and Keys are releasing All Greatness Stands Firm on 20th June as the bands debut single and it is still just as beautiful as it was when it first graced my ears – emotionally driven, thumping drums, and beautifully soaring vocals.
