Bands to watch: Being There

The little glimmer of sun peeping through the clouds means that it is about time we started writing about some indie bands with a blissed out summer vibe. You’ll struggle to avoid twitching a smile as the care-free youthful exuberance of London four-piece Being There reminds you of the good times – the rooftop parties, the dancing into the night and gazing into the red night sky – those easier times with no pressures and no worries.

With a name found in a Peter Sellers film and a sound that remind me a little of Ash on 1977, here’s the start of the soundtrack to the summer heatwave.
