Golden Fable (facebook/twitter) are Tim McIver and Becca Palin, half of the cult-favourites Tim and Sam’s Tim and the Sam Band (yes it was an awful name but that was part of their charm), and they duo have taken a few more electronic cues under the umbrella of experimental folk.
The music itself is solitary, flowing and awash with beauty. Becca’s voice is soaring and is held strongly front and centre whilst the rhythms jerk and scatter around her. Close your eyes and listen to the lullabies.
