The Blue Walrus

Introducing: Twyaen

Twyaen

If you’ve been reading these pages recently (yes I know updates have been sparse), then you might have spotted that I’ve got a bit of a thing for down-tempo R&B and soul at the moment. So when Twyaen (I have not idea how to say it either – it’s Welsh) sent me Keep On Waiting, my ears immediately pricked up.

It starts with some smooth sax which sounds like it may have come straight from an 80s movie soundtrack, but don’t hold that against it. Once the soft melody emerges and Twyaen’s voice floats in, you’ll find the song’s child-like honesty and sweetness is captivating.
