The first demos of Gengahr caused quite the stir, and gained the band a lot of love from a wide array of places including this blog.
Now the north London band are finally putting out a ‘proper’ single, with Walrus favourites Transgressive stepping up to release the track on 27 October.
Recorded with Spring King’s Tarek Musa on mixing duty, Powder is a sinister, tangled slice of weird and wonderful psyche rock that is rough, ready and even more distorted and underproduced than we imagined.
