After featuring the delicious pop perfection of Audreytina‘s Who’s Gonna Save Me? on our last mixtape, we’re privileged to be premièring the video for it right here on the ‘ole Walrus.
Shot on a very tight budget, the Jed Rapp Goldstein-directed video sees Audreytina aimlessly wondering the streets of Hollywood and dancing with prostitutes, set to the backdrop of the jaded pop ballad, asking the same question we all face at some point of how did I get here and what the f*ck am I doing?
Discussing the story behind the film, Audreytina said:
“As an LA native, I’ve been around the block. I’ve seen very street corner in Hollywood, over-saturated with wannabes showing off their latest tricks, hoping they’ll be “found.” I am both sympathetic and repulsed when I drive down the boulevard, already late for an audition and feeling jaded by how jaded I’ve become. Who are all these people? When did I sell my soul?”
