If you’ve been watching Stranger Things and feeling nostalgic for that warm 80s electropop sound, then you are in for a treat with the dreamy American Eyes from Promises Ltd.

The Brooklyn/LA duo is made up of Jeremy Malvin (aka Chrome Sparks) and Charlie Brand (from the band Miniature Tigers), and on American Eyes they have managed to produce something that manages to effortlessly move from 80s nostalgia to a far more modern synth-led electronic R&B/disco jam.

It’s the second track taken from the pair’s self-titled debut EP, due for release later this month, following up the off-kilter electronic cut Days of Lavender.

Promises Ltd. are due to release their debut EP on 26 August on Majestic Casual.
