The lovely boys from Mumford & Sons are launching their biggest UK tour yet next spring, with a selection of tour dates at much bigger venues than before…
The dates are as follows:
3rd March – Glasgow ABC
4th March – Manchester Academy 2
6th March – Wolverhampton Wulfrun
7th March – Newcastle University
9th March – Liverpool Academy
10th March – Cambridge Junction
12th March – Brighton Corn Exchange
13th March – London Shepherd’s Bush Empire
16th March – Edinburgh Queen’s Hall
18th March – Dublin The Academy
20th March – Belfast Spring & Airbrake
If you didn’t catch them last time round, and I know many didn’t due to every show selling out (information garnered from Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons himself – oooh), this is your big chance. They’re definitely one of my favourite bands live, and readers will know we’re all big fans here at TBW HQ.
In addition to the Mumford boys, who let’s face it, are no longer indie or underground now they’re signed to Island and being played on BBC Radio 10 times a day, there are a couple of new faces worth a mention…
A young gent called Tristram caught my attention recently. You can listen to the gorgeous ‘Someone Told Me A Poem’ below, with a brilliant music video from Anika over at www.anikainlondon.com.

And lastly, for today at least, is Adelaide’s Cape. I mentioned these guys some time back here at The Blue Walrus, and over the past few months, they’ve been doing many great things. They’ll be releasing their debut EP in March with a launch party at The Luminaire in London, and then touring the UK and Ireland throughout March and April.
Rest assured you’ll get all the info about Adelaide’s Cape here first as I’m now managing the band! Stayed tuned for tour dates once they’re confirmed and some free MP3 downloads.
Thanks to ekko, here I am and glad I am to find you. Count on me to sign up and get yer post regularly. Thanks for your hard work and passion.
