Pop-folk stars Newton Faulker and Jack Savoretti have announced a very special one-off charity show at London’s KOKO on Thursday 3rd June.
The show, which will also feature a DJ set from BBC Radio 1’s Greg James, is an Ambition Gig in aid of the wonderful TreeHouse Charity, the UK’s national charity for autism education. TreeHouse runs a special school for children and young people with autism; provides information and training for parents and professionals; commissions research and campaigns for change.
Now, if I’m honest, I was sold on Newton Faulkner and Jack Savoretti appearing on the same lineup. The fact that this is for such a wonderful cause too is just brilliant. Tickets are a bargain for Newton, Jack and Greg at just £25.00, and KOKO is possibly one of the best venue’s in London.
I reckon this will be an easy sellout show, so grab your tickets now.
I’ve never seen the attraction to Newton Faulkner – as far as I can work out the only decent thing he’s done is a cover of Massive Attack, but each to their own I suppose…
