Two new songs tonight from the french duo so found of religious imagery, Justice (facebook) – Newlands and Canon.
Newlands is all glam rock, with what sounds like a sample of AC/DC’s For Those About To Rock – still that disco groove, but with a guitar solo and 80s vocal – it does mean the leatherclad boys have strayed away from the electro-distortion upon which they made their name.
Canon has that welcome growl of distortion and thumping beat, whilst still continuing on Justice’s apparent journey of discovery of 1980s cymbal clashes rock climaxes.
Justice – Audio, Video, Disco drops on 24th October on Ed Banger Records.

2 great new tracks, thanks! Newlands wouldn’t be out of place on a sound track to an 80’s teen film and Canon reminds me a bit of Daft Punk. Loving your work!
Thanks! Yeah the album definitely got a serious rock vibe going on, but as long as they keep that bass grooving along and a good bit of distortion I’m a happy man!
If you look up the Battle of The Bands scene from “School of Rock” I think that’s where the guitar sample comes from maybe. It’s much closer. Awesome tracks and awesome album.
