A couple of weeks ago I wrote about how wowed I was with Torches‘ cover of Crushed Beak’s Close Ups, and now we can finally hear the results of Crushed Beaks (facebook/twitter) returning the favour on VTOO.
Crushed Beaks have turned what was a relatively stripped back pop-noir of original into a cacophony of sound which chimes ever the more desperate that should be soundtracking your next pagan bonfire worship ritual. Powerful stuff.
