The dark and brooding sounds of Bristol five-piece Idles (facebook/twitter) had me entranced on first listen. Whether it is the sinister 26/27 or the pulsating aggression of MEYDEI, you can’t help but falling into an emotion-filled trance. It’s messy, it’s spitting attitude, and it’s fucking perfect.
Idles debut EP, Welcome, will be released by Fear of Fiction on 6th August.
