Well, this is exciting. Aside from the fact that the new song from The Helio Sequence (you don’t know how good it is to type those words; you really don’t – we’ve been waiting four years for this!), is absolutely brilliant, an unashamedly big-sounding song that completely gives the lie to the fact that the band is comprised of only two people, as well as being one of the most triumphant returns we’ve heard so far this year, there is a new album on the way. It is entitled Negotiations, is the band’s fifth since they formed in 1999, and will see the light of day on September 10th. The 11-track effort is being trailed by the suitably-expansive-sounding October, which you can stream and download for free below. We’re going to let the music speak for itself – for any newcomers to the fold, this is a very good place to start.
