We’ve been following [STRANGERS] (facebook/twitter) since they released the Shine On You, and Draper giving it his electronic gold-dust didn’t help either. Now they’re back with what I think is my favourite track from them yet, SAFE/PAIN – a desperate electronic anthem.
Alice Jemima has taken SAFE/PAIN, dropped the electronics, and with just a guitar and her luscious soft vocals has broken my heart.
And for a bit of a five minute exclusive her on the Walrus, we’ve got a devastating [STRANGERS] remix of CURXES‘ Spectre, a band with which they share some passion and where they keep the dark gothic feel of the original, but wrap it in electropop to calm your nerves.
