It’s the start of the week and blazing with sunshine, so it’s just about right that we’ve got growling, sleazy rock’n’roll to get you back in the groove with Velvet Two Stripes (facebook). I didn’t know much of Switzerland except for skiing, chocolate, banks, and Roger Federer – but that is exactly where this swaggering trio reside, so maybe you can add home of filthy, sexy, bluesy jams to the list.

The name is apparently not a mash-up of Velvet Underground and Jack White, but instead the thought of those awful faux-velvet looking tracksuits with a two stripes down the side instead of the Adidas three. Who knew?!
