I did post about the phenomenal new noise to come from London 5-piece Duologue over on our video wall, but being as I’ve had the track pretty much consistently on repeat all week, I thought it deserved a full post as well.
I’ve always found the band’s prior output a little difficult to get into at first. It has always been worth the effort, but now, with Underworld, the boys have created something simply breathtaking from the opening vocal line. From the simple programmed almost garage-influenced beats, to the heavy reverb on the piano, having Jim Abbiss (Adele, Arctic Monkeys) at the controls has meant bringing the melody front and centre and it’s beautiful.

Underworld will be released on 26th October by the ever fine Killing Moon as a double A-side record with the also excellent Zeros for which we’ll have an exclusive remix for you in the coming weeks.
