The results are in and it is that time again when the collective heads of the music blogging community have come together and chosen their top five picks for bigger and better things in 2013. Just like the BBC Sound Of poll which it was designed to compliment, there are a huge breadth of nominations from the bloggers involved with 170 acts nominated but HAIM and CHVRCHES were clearly ahead of the rest of the pack.
We all got to nominated five bands, and HAIM were the only of mine to make this list. All the bands in this top five are great, but you’ll be hearing my other picks along with those of our other writers in the next few days – so keep your eyes peeled.
1st Haim
