We are lucky enough to have Thyla playing this month’s Hopscotch on 19th April with Rews and October Drift, and to get you even more excited about that prospect – today we’re premiering the video for their latest track, Car Crash.
In the opening scenes of the video we see a frontwoman Mille Duthie in the aftermath of a car crash, as she sings nonchalantly “I crashed you car the other day” over the grungey bass. As the camera slowly pans around the crash scene and the blue police lights flash in the reflections, the song builds to a thrilling crescendo as Duthie’s vocals soar and the music is freed.
