Paco and Simon used to perform together in the pop band We Are Match, but it is as SuperParka that the duo have found their own sound made their most exciting musical moves.
The pair made some waves at the end of 2017 when they played Pitchfork’s Avant-Garde festival in Paris and found some coverage online from our friends at Culturez Vous and Pause Musicale, but for me its the release of their second single, ‘Skip’, that I just can’t get out of my head.
It’s a track that plays with laid-back hip hop beats, smooth soulful R&B vocals, dream tinkles, and one hell of a bassline.
