What do you get when you let Jack Antonoff of Bleachers work his production magic on an already special orchestral St Vincent track ‘Slow Disco’? Something that sounds more like LCD Soundsystem and very much more fitting for the disco title.

Slow Disco was a bit of a hidden gem on St Vincent’s 2017 LP Masseduction, but Antonoff has managed to turn what was a slowburn classical piece into and electropop wonder that replaces the orchestra with pulsating synths and a feel of melancholy with one of nostalgic celebration.
