From the country bordering Spain to the west (in case you are wondering, that’s Portugal) come a praisefully loud rock (or whatever you what to call it) group, Os Passos Em Volta.
The band has released their debut album in 2011 through their DIY record label, Cafetra Records, but their music still remains quite anonymous in the UK. Almost all the members have side projects such as João Marcelo, the main vocalist, who plays folky tunes under the stage of Éme or the sisters, Júlia (drums) and Maria Reis (guitar/vox) that play together as Pega Monstro ( you can find the duo’s debut album at Rought Trade East)
Their incredible song “Fetra” is only one of the many anthems they’ve wrote about their label/attitude towards music. We haven’t heard in a while anything like this, right?
