Abi Dersiley and Matt Canham have been friends for years, bonding over a shared love of Massive Attack, and joined forces in a few bands in the past, but it is together under the Plaitum moniker that they produce their best work.
French pioneers Kitsuné released the duo’s first track Geisha on their wonderful Kitsuné Maison 14 compilation, and now the pair are back with their debut EP, which is due for release on 4 December via Paul Epworth’s Wolf Tone.
Today, we’ve got the first taste of that EP in the shape of LMHY, and it’s an stunning slice of mesmerizingly dark and noisy electronica. Damn.
