Majik have been a musical of mine ever since I heard the opening bars of Save Me back in 2015, and Jamie and Marcus have steadily released a musical gem every three months since.
Their latest release, Paralysed, is a sultry cut about the melancholy of disconnection and living two different realities.

Tim, your review prompted me to go to the duo’s Soundcloud site. Here I discovered that, for several songs, the guys were releasing two versions: one acoustic, one fully produced. I love both versions of ‘Close’ and ‘Real’ because one truly gets to explore the song when it has different textured backgrounds. It’s also given me a wee boost: I’ll continue in the quest to create two versions of some of my songs, a concept I started last Summer and will hopefully culminate in a Fall release of an album called “Double Take”. PS, I also posted their music and a similar comment on my Facebook Page so as to get folks thinking about how good songs can be in various formats (theleens). Thanks for the review. Kathy
