Back when the blogging world (including us) was all hyped about Cults, Guards emerged in the mirror with more than a few similarities to the ex-Forest Family and new Columbia signing.
Now Guards are the ones putting out their EP on very limited edition (only 500 pressings) vinyl heavyweight through 3 Syllables Records next week and it’s a beauty. All the poptastic hooks of their hype-deserving friends, but rougher, dirtier and deeper.
