There’s a charm to the sophistication employed on the pop tunes of Arthur Beatrice (facebook/twitter) that makes the couple of songs I’ve heard stay with me. It’s simple, alluring, and Ella Girardot’s voice is dancing with glamour – they should be snapped up to pen the next Bond soundtrack right now.

That is about all I can say about the band, however, as there is an utter dearth of information about them floating around this interweb of ours other than their gig last night sounded wonderful. What I do know is that the band’s debut single, Midland (stream below) will be released digitally next month on Open Assembly with the 12″ following in April.
