I have to admit that when Passion Pit returned with the first track from the latest album in Take A Walk I wasn’t sold – it was still pretty catchy pop music but it didn’t have the inventive soul that characterised the band’s debut. Luckily though, the band have now dropped I’ll Be Alright on the interweb and the boys are back on form with clashing and skittish drums hi-hats, warming vocals, and the sampling tricks that made them famous – it’s a wonderfully happy summer jam.
