With a vast variety of releases in Thee Oh Sees back catalogue its hard to keep count of the number of albums they have released but I think we’re up to number 13 now. They treated us last year with not one but two amazing LP releases and now they are back to spoil us once again with their new single Lupine Dominius and the announcement that they will be releasing their 14th album Putrifiers II on September 11th via In The Red Records.
Over the years the bands line up and variable style of sound has changed but the music has stayed as impressive as ever. This single is just the a small teaser from the new album but from its first listen i think its going to be worth the 2 month wait. Brigit Dawson’s hollow vocals take centre stage and breach over the perfect oscillation of lo-fi frenzied guitar, deep bass line and psyched out organ, jamming together a perfect manic blast of garage rock.
