My introduction to Amber States was the fantastic Son of a Gun that I picked up on the Teeth Records Grapefruit compilation, and it soundtracked that summer for me pretty damn perfectly. Now with Breathe in the Water, their euphoric/melancholic sounds will be soundtracking the sunshine in 2013 as well.

We’ve had the track on repeat since the showed off a video of them playing on the busk barge back in February, but its getting a proper release on May 27nd and comes with a hazy 90s sun-kissed video that we’re premiering below.

If you fancy catching them live, and you should, they’ve got a short tour of Communion nights in Scotland and the North starting on May 23rd, and will be back in London on 8th June.
