After featuring today’s band, Overcoats, on our weekly playlist in the past, today we’re lucky enough to premier the video for their latest track Walk On.

The video is a raw and intimate look at the East Coast two-piece, filmed in Brooklyn earlier this year, and shows the pair singing sweetly with just a folkish electric guitar for accompaniment. We fell in love with the band and their own brand of “soultronica” with The Fog earlier this year, and the simplicity of Walk On demonstrates that there is a lot more from their folk roots still to come.

Overcoats are currently touring the UK and will be playing at The Cavern in Exeter on 29th September, and a possible London show in early October – so keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates.
