There’s a timeless beauty to the sound of San Francisco-based Aaron Atkins, aka Vie En Ville, that made me fall in love with the first listen of So Fond Of You.

Luckily, Personal Space Records were kind enough to give us the streaming premiere of the track right here on the Walrus, so today we can share the blues and jazz-influenced soulful minimalism. The track is little more than Aaron Atkins’ emotive voice accompanied with delicate keys and horns – but that is he needs to find striking beauty.

Atkins is currently working on completing a small collection of songs aimed to form a solid introduction to his style and approach to music making.
